Yes, Problems with GMC and Atlanta Medical Center

    Yeah it's true.
Atlanta Medical Center has announced that they will not provide Clinical Rotations for Foreign Medical Graduates anymore. Dr. ________, has also been asked to close his office in Atlanta by the 15th of July.

So where are students going to rotate now? Based on a previous post by Frankie, looks like there might be trouble.

    yes
    Sums,

Xavier is listed with the WHO. And all rotations are currently done at affiliated hospitals in Atlanta.

so how does this go? GMC is no longer placing people or just at that facility and still has other facilities?

    Rotations

    Hey guys,

The president said that they will have rotations online in other locations by the next semester and I will give you an update. He said that there are still rotation in Atlanta for those who want to do them there, its just that the bulk of the open slots are less. He says there are currently still 200 rotation spots for Xavier, so there is nothing to worry about it just that there are not a whole boatload, so people are just taking this information and running with it. Not to worry, is what I am told. there are still plenty of rotations. Contact the main office for specifics.
