That is the rumor all over campus. It would be the best thing for the school in my opinion. Where would you rather be, Aruba or Bonaire? No answer needed. By the first week of the month something official should be coming down.

I am older than I look.
The problem is that Aruba campus is not listed with the ECFMG.
If the school is listed on the ECFMG website does it really matter that both campuses are not metioned on it? Shouldn't it have the same amount of accredation (lol is that a word????? anyway). But seriously, if both campuses are run by the same set of individuals and the school may or may not have two campuses for long would it really matter which one is listed on the website, or does it? Maybe they just haven't updated the information as yet. What do you think?

"International Association of Medical Colleges" "The IAMC would use standards adopted by the World Federation for Medical Education entitled, “Global Standards for Quality Improvement”. IAMC would follow established review/accrediting procedures in its evaluation of any medical school in the world.""IAMC would serve as an outside, objective, body of expert evaluators/accreditors. The objective would be to report to any school its compliance with the adopted standards. Should the school consent its application and Association findings will be available to any authorized person or agency." all the colleges like this one would have to join them or risk not being approved. I don't like this because they (The big 3 Carrib schools) would set the standards. We will have to wait and see.

Thanx, will do.
OK,
The school is officially relocating the school to Bonaire. This will be the last semester for the Bonaire cmpus. As I stated before, the government of Aruba will be fully accrediting the school. So, rotations in Aruba will be set up for those who want to do them there and if you want to practice there. This will be an official school in Aruba. The rotations will be set up 6mo to a year after operation of the Campus. This is the last semester on Bonaire. There will still be rotations in the states. The aruba option is for those who want to do it.
The school is providing a container for the students in Bonaire who want to move their stuff to Aruba. Housing info can be obtained by going early to Aruba and contacting the housing realtor. Call the school or main office in Bonaire for contact info.

Good luck to you all on Aruba. Maybe SJSM should take over the Xavier campus on Bonaire.
