QUESTION TO FRANK AND OTHER STUDENTS

    Advertisements

    HEY FRANK AND OTHERS

I HAVE BEEN READING SOME POSTS TO FIND OUT WHAT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DOING TO SURVIVE MED SCHOOL AND PREPARE FOR THE BOARDS. NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN SPECIFIC. ALL I EVER HEAR IS THAT THEY STUDY REALLY HARD. I UNDERSTAND THAT, BUT I FEEL THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVENT DONE WELL STILL STUDIED HARD. I AM CHALLENGING YOU AND WHOEVER READS THIS TO BE SPECIFIC AND SHARE YOUR SECRETS IN WHAT THEY DO TO SUCCEED.

GREAT EXAMPLES INCLUDE DAILY ROUTINES, SCHEDULES, PRACTICES, STUDY TECHNIQUES, AND TEST PREPARATION.

IF YOU CAN COMMENT IN ALL OF THESE AREAS IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL AND GREATLY APPRECIATED.

    THANK YOU!

    good post

    RROD,

    That is a good link.

    Duttycup,

Read the link Rrod posted. Its a little different than my method but it gives you good ideas. I study almost daily and on weekends. I never cram before the test, it just doesn't work for me. I just get mixed up and I do horribly. Sometimes I take a nap when I get home before I study to refresh my mind after 8 hours of class a day. Also, to be successful, write your own notes to what the professor says. It is key. Like in the link above, try to explain in your own words the concepts on paper when you write your notes. Since this is my last semester in Basic Science, I am starting to sudy for the USMLE.
