    clinicals at Xavier

    Advertisements

    Hey guys,

I know that after the basic sciences in Aruba, one proceeds to the clinicals. Now if one was to do the clinicals in the US, how easy is it to get through with this stage. Does the university get us our visa to get over there, or do we have to take care of that? Also how easy is it to get into clinicals. I'd appreciate if anyone can share some of their experiences in getting into clinicals and residency positions. Thanks.

If you fail at AUC, SGU, or Ross why not transfer to SMU, if you fail at SMU, why not try another SMU.

    clinicals in A STATE.

Xavier has clinicals not in the stateS per say, but in ONE state: Georgia; and only in the city of Atlanta. But I heard that as of now the clinicals were only guaranteed until dec 2005. Can anyone give the 411 on this? I mean..it'd suck to go all the way to Aruba on ly to find out ur screwed...kinda like...

    info

    Hi,

I have 4 or 5 Canadians going to clinicals with me. The school writes them a letter along with a pcket they have to fill out. then they do their clinicals in the hospitals that Xavier is affiliated with.

We would like everyone to know that the "December 2005" time frame in AMC was not something said to Xavier. Xavier students are still guarenteed US Clinical Rotations, no matter if we use the GMC Group or not. Xavier hopes to add more cities within the next 6-8 months, like Chicago, Phoenix, Washington D.C..
