It looks like the new major investors for the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine (USESOM) are from India and this means that Indian recruitment is going to go sky high.

Check out this advertising and investment seeking initiative as linked at

"Medical Council of India MCI has denied permission to Conduct MBBS courses by certain medical colleges.Yesterday the declaration of Unfit Institutions to Conduct MBBS were released by MCI." This list included many of the medical colleges in India.

Be very careful with advertisements as the one sited above by buzzfromaz. Anyone can pay to produce a brochure that looks good. This one implies if you attend the school you will be allowed to sit for the Indian Medical Council exam. If this exam is important to you, please contact the MCI and ask if this medical school is recognized by MCI. When I contacted them yesterday I was told this is not a fact and that a medical degree from this school is not recognized in India.

Be aware that if any program sounds too good to be true it probably is not a legitimate program. Be wary of any medical school that has not progressed over a reasonable length of time, generally accepted as 5-8 years from school opening. This progression should include owning land and having campus buildings in place, having New York and California approval, and having a loan program in place.

Spend your education money wisely or you may end up owing loan money and interest, but not having the proper education to succeed.
