    question about books

    hey guys,
i just have a questions about the books situation..i know you could either buy ur books from amazon or whatever or you could give the school a deposit and then borrow the books from the school. now, if i that do, will i be able to take the books let's say on housing and return it by the end of the term or i just have to use them in the library? i need some clarification..

also, books are expensive..should i buy them? if yes..how?

    thnx in advance !

It does not matter if you use the south asian edition or international edition or the regular edition they are the same except for the price ...guess the seller made a lot of money..these books cost between 5- 10 dollars each in south asia...

Did you buy these books and then bring them with you in your luggage? Or how did you get them to school?

I brought them in my luggage. In my carryon to be exact. Because my luggage was jam packed so I didn't have a choice.

I wouldn't agree. The price depends on the country you live in, the type of the book, the year of publication, etc., moreover, there are plenty of websites where you can buy books cheaper than usual. I don't use Amazon, eBay and something like that (because it's too expensive for me) but I know a few sites where the prices are pretty affordable. I'd rather buy a book than read an e-version of it because I prefer paper books which you can touch, hold in your hands, turn the pages and feel the smell.
