If you feel that windsor is "scamming" you, please read.

    Advertisements

    Hello all,

I am a current MD1 student. Ive been reading lately that windsor is scamming many students by intentionally failing them, and charging them with retake fees, to pocket the extra money.

My question to all of you students being "scammed", why do you continually let windsor "rob" you? Who is dumb enough to continue to give money to someone that is scamming them? You know they are scamming you, why do you continue to give them your money? They arent putting a gun to your head to stay here.

If you know that you passed a test (its really not hard to KNOW. If I studied hard, ive always been able to estimate roughly how many questions ive missed on any exam), then how can you let the school tell you that you failed?

How come you, oh victims of the evil windsor are staying here? Do you really like St. Kitts that much? There are plenty of other caribbean schools out there that will take you. So you've wasted a year already on this island. Its time to cut your losses, and get out of here, before they steal more money from you, dont you think?

But wait a minute... WAIT A FREAKIN MINUTE! What will your parents say when you try to transfer out of windsor? What will you tell them? That you failed? No, you cant tell them that, because obviously you passed. What are you going to tell them? You are going to tell them that the evil windsor scammed you, not only once, but twice, and three times.

Now who are your parents going to believe? You, or windsor?

Thats where you get your little "legal action".

Good luck with that, my unfortunate windsor victims. I wish you the best, and hope you are never granted the opportunity to practice in the US. I have family there, and would rather have them visiting competent doctors who will take responsibility for their own actions.

    TAKE IT EASY DOC!!!

Ur what, in md1??? Come on man, your new to the game so you don't even have the right to talk about whats going on. Don't bite off more than you can chew.....good piece of advice.

If you are not aware of what has been going on in the past or what is currently going on don't give you opinions....you have yet to write you finals! Wait till your final period or until you are in md 2 or 3 or even 4 and then comment on the current situation.

look, im not saying anything but this:

If you know you are getting scammed, wouldnt common sense tell you to avoid the scam? Wouldnt common sense tell you to cut your losses, and move on?

    Thats all I am saying.

Trust me doc almighty, you will see what happens in a few semesters down the line. It might be all fine and dandy now, but just wait and see what happens. Initially, everything about the school looks good, but their are a lot of flaws in the system. It starts from the faculty, then goes to adminstration and finally to go to Dr. G. It's not as easy as you think to transfer from this school after you started. The problem is, none of the classes will transfer over. I inquired about it. The only class that will transfer over will probably be anatomy because it incooperates a lab. Histology, pathology and microbiology all did not have a lab when I took it on the island. Not sure if thats the case now, but I doubt it. Even the anatomy lab had a body that was there for about 6 semesters at least. It was severly decomposed and majority of the structures were severed or decomposed. So if you pretty much start off and transfer somewhere else, you are stuck and need to start all over again. So that is why you should rock the step and transfer out for clinicals, thats probably the route to go.

    Read

I agree with jsb411 on that. They will get you somewhere down the line unless they are stopped or smarten up.

Ok, I don't know if this is true or not, but I have been hearing from students, you know how we are not allowed to see our question paper but just our answer sheet and the schools answer sheet or should I say their made up answer sheet to screw us over. Apparently, now you are allowed to see your question paper still for only a limited amt of time but they are going to charge you $80 something US dollars per exam paper!!!! If this is true, it doesn't even say that on the sheet that you fill out for exam recount so I think these guys are just pulling that number out from nowhere and trying to make extra money and screw students over again.

I've asked to see my exam once on the island. After 2 weeks of going back and forth, paying the $75, which is unheard of because since your paying tuition, exam fees and such, you should have every right to see the exam. So the day comes where I go to Dr. S's office and finally get to see the exam. When I get to see the exam, its not my exam. Then he said I need to come back later on in the week and then I can review it. So I go back on Thursday, he shows me my answer sheet, their supposed key and the exam paper that i took. The first page where my name is written is the same, but every other page after that is different. How do I know that? well, since i initial every page and mark the answer and put special marks on each page, so no issues would be at fault. They only give me 15 minutes to look at it, but I didnt even need that because the exam key wasnt mine. I find that a bit shady. I told Dr. S that is not my test paper, and he says I dont know? His is the exam controller and he doesnt know where my real test paper is? All in all, their is something fishy going on, but I am sure that someone will make a bigger deal about it soon enough.

    scamming

In regards to the scamming, I was scammed for a few semesters, until I decided to leave the school. After I left the school I had proof that my exams were not marked intentionally. It is amazing what this school is capable of doing. They want to control your life in every aspect. If they know you want to become a doctor and you have a loan, they will make you run out of your loan and than tell you since you don't have the financing, what's the point of you staying there. It's an institution that requires a new administration and professors that care about the students career path and not about the money. Retired doctors would be ideal for this occupation. However the professors mostly have come straight from India, and the mentality is 'conservative'. This school is not for you if you're a brown individual who is westernized. The school will find a way to kick you out, or blackmail you. Needless to say, not all schools are like this. It is only this school in particular. There is room for improvement from the faculty if they just changed their priorities to teaching students rather than scamming them.

    You only have 1 post.

Why did you not come here about this problem earlier? Like around the time you found out "with proof" that you are being intentionally failed.

Just by saying "I have proof", you think we are supposed to magically believe you?

Your innocence and naivety is glowing. Save this post. Finish your time on the island. Then reread this post.
