Any money-earning jobs while @ windsor?

    Advertisements

hey, i observed that the curriculum windsor abides with, makes it difficult for Windsor students to actually do some little work or jobs in st.kitts to make some lil-cash like in other medical schools in the united states and even europe, or if i am wrong soemone should please correct me. am asking these, because havent seen anyoen talking about work ina ny post here and am used to making money while studying, actually doing webdeisgns now, but would love to know if one can do other jobs be it sales or marketing while studying there?
Lastly, can students take a break from school at anytime, to work in maybe Uk?
please just wanna know so i come with the right attitude.

It's not that of an issue they don't want to talk about it.

You can get jobs around St Kitts: Jobs in Hotel, Bars, teaching in private and stuff. I had one of my bud working for a bar and making some untaxed $$$.

The school does not offer jobs to students on campus, but you can always talk to some students there who will send you to the right people.
You will have plenty of time to get a job if you really want to work.
Two other students used to work at barry's, which is a grill and bar, and they used to work at the bar and in the kitchen.

    It's up to you....

hey thanks for that info...and yea the school doesn't talk about it and same with students here. so who do you know i can talk to for a job? and is it advisable to work with the rigorous Md program? cos wondering what time those students have to work and read for school. or do they work weekends only? Because i would love to work for some few dollars when i come in May as far it's a little bit convenient even if not totally convenient

Like I said above, you will have plenty of time to work...afternoon, week-ends, after class, because you will not be in class all day, and you will not be studying all day either.

I don't know of schools that told students about jobs, too.
This is something personal, and don't expect students to just come around and talk about what they are doing around. This is not high school, privacy and limitations on what folks will let you know count a lot.

Like I said before, if you can handle the work load and work at the same time, like many people did, more power to you. But it's nothing that you can't handle, seriously.
Many places will even allow you to read on the job. I saw my former classmates did the same while working at a private club.

People to talk to for JOB; your classmates, roommates, and those who you may want to work for. Students leave the island after each semester, and you may have the opportunity to pick what they left behind also.

Don't be afraid to ask them about where to go get a job.
I need to think about something...maybe you know what...

Thanks for that info and same to mdrx thanks for yours too and i agree with u concerning privacy and all that u said as regards to jobs. i really observed that people don't talk about that until when they get to know you better which is probably when u come to the island.

alQurayshee what do u think about that wage? aint it small? or is it ok for students( i mean 9Ec/hr) meaning one can't make much, well what kinda jobs pay better there, that a student can adapt to
