    Total expenses

According to your experiences, is it realistic to attend to this school with a total budget of +- 12k/year (2 semesters)?

Does their financial plan (wich is supposed to cover ALL) Windsor University School of Medicine - About the Country is reliable and realistic?

    Thanks.

What you have stated applies only to NY. California will not allow us to practice there, do residency there, or clinical rotations.

Can any current windsor students post the actual costs from the university one encounters as of 2011. I know for a fact the basic stuff is tuition - 4990, dorm
maintenance - 500, project 2400- 50 per sem and there is another 80 for something else coming up to $5620 per sem. Can some one pl fill in what am missing out for?
Is the dorm maintenance 500 per month or per semester? Also what types of housing can one choose from, does the dorm maintenance change based on the housing
you opt for or does it stay the same? I heard there is a campus bus too, does that pick students up from all the housing facilities. What is the cost per semester
for use of the bus service. Also one of the housing facilities is attached to a hotel and students can avail of a meal plan....how does this work and what is the cost per month or per semester? Can we have inputs please. Thanks!

    Tuition- 4990
    Registration- 100
    Project 2400- 80
Dorm maintenance- 500 (which goes towards your overall rent for the semester)
    Semester ending exam fee- 100
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
    Total- 5770

That's everything I remember. If anyone else has something different then please correct me. Obviously that total doesn't include living expenses and whatnot. All of these fees are semesterly. Except that one semester per year (I believe it's May or September) there's a 200 dollar Hurricane Rescue fee.

The school bus has stops in all three of the main places to live on the island (Frigate Bay, Bird Rock, Limekiln). If you live in one of those areas you can definitely ride the bus to school. I believe the fee is 150 per semester, but don't quote me. They instituted that half way through my last semester and I didn't ride it.

I don't know about this meal plan people are talking about. Sorry!

The fees are exactly as stated. Windsor has stop providing meals to students. You purchase your own lunch at the
cafetaria. One thing is true: Windsor's tuition fees is among the cheapest you can find in Caribbean medical school

Hey Swoll68 are you a student currently at windsor? How does the housing work at frigate bay, bird rock,
and limekiln. Are they equidistant from the campus? With the $500 dorm maintenance fee can you stay at any
of the 3 dorms or do the prices change. Are they 1 2 or 3 bedroom. How many ppl usually share a room?
If you can provide any other info besides mentioned above will be gr8. Thanks!

Ooooo, one thing I have completely forgotten about. Buses to and from school.

The way you mentioned it (and I'm saying if we were to take what you said literally) the bus only makes three stops, one in each of those towns/cities? So if you live at the Royal, you and some (rich) guy that decides to live at the Marriott across the street will have to walk to a common bus stop where only Windsor's buses will come pick you up? Or is it public transportation and everyone could, technically, take a different city bus to the university and get there at different times but still on time?

    Hi,

Regarding 2 or 3 semesters, is it true that the 3rd Semester is optional? I am also from Canada and was wondering how that works. As well, does it matter what semester you start in?

Thanks for your responses. Much appreciated

How do U.S. students pay tuition if Davenport MBA is not an option. I know that clinicals range between $6400-$7500 just for tuition. Any other degree program suggestions or other methods?
