Really upset about the lack of Greenbook and Bluebook rotations

I'm quite nervous and upset about the lack of greenbook / bluebook rotations! There are only a few states that give permanent license without those rotations. I feel ripped off!

Dont even stress, go ahead with the rotations, whats important is that you can always work in those few states. Plus by few I hope you mean 40 states

You need to call AICG office, demand for them to stop lying.

I think I'm more so upset with the quality. I mean do you even get to round on patients and create your own History? Do you get to be in the OR? Do you learn any skills other than observing?

I know should call the Windsor office but I would like to know from a student first. How bad IS it? I mean, if Windsor students are rotating in Physician offices, is that 'observership' as in literal sense? Or students call it observerships because they are not allowed to perform much but are 'theoretically' proper clinicals?

Observerships cannot replace clinical cores and/or electives. Observerships are voluntary work or observation that FMGs from India and other countries perform to gain US clinical experience and receive LORs from American Physicians. They will not be accepted as Cores and electives at American Hospital.

I was under the impression that some students got clinical rotations with access medical group and in chicago....I guess I was incorrect. I hope that in the future students will be able to do rotations in ACGME hospitals or teaching hospitals.
