    Visa For Canadians

    Advertisements

How hard is it to get a visa and what will be required at the border prior to commencing rotations?

Is there a fee to get the visa? any supporting documents needed?

    thanks.

    Hello
    I'm a Canadian. Here's what i know
    - Visa letter - the school will give u a letter (asking tht u be given a B1 or J1 visa) to take to the border. The rest is upto the officer at the port-of-entry into the US
    - Canadian Licensing/Residency - As per the Med Coun of Can (MCC), an FMG can write the MCCEE as long as their school is on the IMED, which Windsor is on the IMED. There are many FMGs from various carib schools in Canada. So, I dun see a problem with that. For residency, thr's CARMS to go after (or IMG Ontario if u r from here)

    Hope this helps.

I'm a Canadian coming to the US by plane. Regarding the student visa, do I get that before I go to the US or when I get off the plane?

If someone could provide their experience with the whole student visa process it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Hmmm, why a letter that needs to be brought to the border. Can the process be done at a US visa processing centre in canada? Does anyone know the type of visa that we get a letter for? How hard has the process been to obtain the visa for the canadians out there (via this letter)?
Any new insight would be greatly appreciated.
