    Step 3 before residency

    Advertisements

Hey! I had a question regarding step 3 before residency. I know we can take it. Infact its a good thing to take, to make my CV look stronger. However, I was wondering if taking step 3 will limit me in any way while applying for residency. For instance, if i take step 3 and apply for NY liscence, can i apply for programs in NJ???

It won't limit you, might open some doors actually.

    Thanks!
One more question: Why do they set limitations on step 3 ? I mean some states require that you have postgraduate training but some don't.
