i registered with connecticut because they did not require 1 year residency before hand. you need to have the ecfmg certificate.

Does anyone know what difference is between registering in different states that don't require residency? For example, neither NY nor CT require residency before taking step 3. Is there anything that makes registering in CT preferable over one in NY, i.e. processing times or anything else? Thank you!
