    taking the USMLE STEP 2 IN 6 MONTHS

    Hello
    Im Taking The Step 2 Ck In About 6 Months. Can Anyone Recommend Any Study Material. Is The Q-bank Useful? I Have The Ist Aid And The Boards And Wards. Is That Enough? What Is Uw, I Keep Hearing About It. I Would Apreciate The Help

    6 MONTHS!!! You have more than enough time.
    UW = USMLE World. It is a q-bank for step 1 and 2. It's really good (better than Kaplan I think). Plus, it's cheaper and it has more questions than the Kaplan q-bank. Just use the books you're comfortable with.
    I read through the blue prints series once, then I only used first aid and USMLE world. I found that to be more than adequate.

    U seem reasonable and realistic.
    I plan on keeping my studies simple, and know the material well, as i did for step 1.

    I think 6 months is more than enough, probably even too much. But it depends on your study habits and how many others distractions you have. If you have the q bank, then do those questions, but if you have to pay for any questions, definitely do UW. And do it as many times as you can in 1 month and read all the explanations. If you read first aid, boards and wards, or even crush the boards and do a lot of questions, then you should have nothing to worry about.

    I'm not familiar with MCCEE...I've never heard of it.

    Yes, that one is Canadian Board Exam! I met a lot of Canadian MD taking the USMLE since it isn't similar at all!!
