    A 51 yo woman presents for her annual Ph.E.Her LMP was 2yr ago.She has a Hx of HTN and mild depression but no DM or CAD.A former cigarette smoker,she stopped more than 10yr ago.Her FH is significant for a father who had a MI at 53yo.Her fasting lipid panel shows:
    Cholestrol:249mg/dl,LDL:145mg/dl,TG:190mg/dl,HDL:66mg/dl
    Mx?

    this pt has 3RFs!
    1-age(she's postmenopausal)
    2-HTN
    3-family history
    BUT!her high HDL>60 effectively makes this 2 RFs!
    her LDL:145,just need diet therapy,if her LDL was greater than 160 drug therapy would be appropriate
