    So the basic things are
    Diabetes
    Thyroid
    Cholesterol
    Cushing,

yes there are many other things but lets start with this ones.

SO I will try to start with some basic stuff about Diabetes that everyone MUST know for the exam.

1- If someone ate a big mac with a large doble quater pound combo there and then you take there glucose and is 200 the patient is consider Diabetic.

Meaning that ramdom glucose of 200 is diabetes till proven other wise.

2- Patient that has nonketotic hyperglycemic hyperosmolar state you must give LOTS AND LOTS of fluids.

3- Remember that Hemoglobin A1c is suppose to be less than 7% for diabetics, it measures the average glucose in the last 3 months.

4-You must know the different types of insulin, and how, when is it use.

5- Remember that the baby of a lady with uncontrolled diabetes can have macrosomia

I have also poseted some questions in the internal medicine forum about endocrinology.

Now what else do we need to know or remember about diabetes.
You guys can post anything about the other topics too.
