A 32 y.o female comes into your office with complaints of rash on face that takes the shape of a butterfly, joint pains that wont go away. she is positive for ana, ds-dna and anti- smith antibodies. what nephritic or nephrotic glomeular disease is associated with this

    a. membraneous glomerulonephrits
    b. membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis
    c. Minimal change
    d. Focal segmental
    e. diffuse proliferative glomerulonephritis

and which of the markers from above are associated with renal involvement in sle?

    keep going...u can do this

Hey st 55, thanks for the great question.

I know that its definately Diffuse Proliferative, WHO class IV...hm, the ab that threw me off...but I think I'm going to go with Anti-Smith, cuz its the most specific in SLE (but I'm not sure on this)

    Kool, got any more q's???
