Pt on theophiline and has infection. He was then given erythromycin- How will this antibiotic change the level of the first drug? Is it p450 or protein binding?

    my guess

both theophylline and erythromycin r metabolized by cyt p450 system, so dosages should be adjusted accordingly. my guess is thru p450.

    Ref: kaplan pharm pg 7-8
