how to pay for this school?

    Advertisements

okay so... I want to go to this school but I cant rely on my parents to help me. I have been told UMHS staff that I can go if I take out the Institutional loan (3,300 Basic sciences, 5500 clinicals- info I got from former student), do a Masters (I applied for an MHA, i get 5,100 from FAFSA after paying for masters tuition) and apply for Grad Plus loan. I have no idea how grad plus loans work but taking into account that the conditions state that I can use it for living expenses, books and whatever tuition is left unpaid. Problem is wouldn't the tuition technically be covered since the grad plus is taken out using the masters that got fully paid by fafsa? (leaving me with the only excuse that it is for living expenses) What loophole can I use to get grad plus to work so I can cover UMHS tuition? I mean, seriously, I want to study here but I can't rely on wishing to pay for my medical studies. I would love some input from students already in UMHS on how are they doing this because honestly, I don't understand it and september is only 3 months away so.... I gotta figure this our soon. (help)

even with the UMHS institutional loan, you would still need to pay the 8% fixed interest monthly, so there is that added cost too. Something to be aware of!
