You should probably just restart somewhere else. Transferring with one semester under your belt isn't worth the troubles.

Hi, passing at umhs is 70. Depending on the instructor and distribution of student scores, some classes get a curve others don't.

Windsor, which is another medical school on the same island here on St. Kitt's, offers retake exams but I think you have to pay a certain amount. Dunno how much. Our school has nothing like that. You repeat that class if ask the appeals committee to review your case and they will determine if you have to retake it or pass you on.

The comment posted above was disregarded by you, but I wanted to praise the value behind it and explain why. I hope you are not too offended to not see the value behind this advice: From Saba you are theoretically down-grading to umhs. I am a student here. Try a lateral transfer of schools if you can, like say the other CA approved Caribbean schools for example AUA which is a younger school than umhs, but already has California! That is awesome if you ask me. We don't. If I were in your position I'd consider AUA. Forget these other schools w/o California approval. You are still pretty early in the basic sciences, you are not losing too much time. If anything, it will help you as some topics will be a review.

Even though I agree with the idea behind Resonance's recommendation, I would have to clarify that AUA is NOT younger than UMHS. According to their website they have been open since 2004, whereas UMHS has been in existence since 2008. I am very happy with AUA's Cali approval and I truly think you should consider this school if you want to do a parallel transfer. UMHS still needs about four more years to get to that point. Good luck!

ARE YOU KIDDING!! AUA has CA, NY and FLorida approval. This place charges high tuition and can't even provide a list of grads with residencies and licenses; yet alone NO STATE APPROVALS.
    Consumer beware! Yossarrian
