3 courses; anatomy, histo, cell biology
    anatomy lab is included
usually u get 2 exams histo n cell bio then a week later its the anatomy exam

school work isn't the problem; the real problem is finding a place to live without landlords bothering you, without the roof caving in when it rains, without having to get ripped off etc

In the next few weeks, you will receive the official booklist which has the required and recommended text books and the price through the UMHS book store. You should use that as a guide to the textbooks that your professors will reference in class.

The schedule of classes has not been developed by the Dean's Office. The list of courses that gx255 posted is accurate but the timing of classes is still unknown. You will receive schedule when you arrive on campus for registration and orientation.

I suspect that you will not get much of an answer here. Many of our students have already started studying for final exams as the semester is quickly drawing to a close. Many of your questions have already been answered and you can use the search function to find those answers. I'd suggest that you contact an admissions representative in the NY or regional office. They can provide you with answers to questions that are not answered here or on 0our website: www.umhs-sk.org.

I'm just finishing Med1 now, finals are in a couple days. Here's the short of it all: The facilities are excellent. The wireless internet is very reliable and fast. In my class, cheating is non existent to my knowledge (you will get to know all your classmates very well and there are no such things as secrets), especially because at the level you need to apply the knowledge and just the sheer volume of it doesn't allow it.
Hours were like this for me but they might be different for your schedule:
7:15 - Bus pickup from the Royal St.Kitts
    9:00am - 10am - Cell Biology (Tuesdays and Thursdays 8-10)
    10-11am- Histology
    11am - 12pm- Anatomy Lecture
    2- 4:30 - Anatomy Lab
5:30 - Bus takes you home

Block exams every 4 weeks. Exams are exams: they're hard so study.
If I can offer some advice: TIME MANAGEMENT and BALANCE are key. Of course you have to study, and you will...a lot. However, you need to take time to yourself as well so you don't burn out.
All the best, see you in May!

Dr. Torres bought up an excellent point. That is to manage your time correctly is the key to do well. Most of students can't do that including myself, but eventually you will have to because you can't put your studying off. If you do it everyday, then you should be ready for the exams. In terms of the schedule, it changes from semester to semester, but it's pretty close to Dr. Torres' list. Good luck.
