The routes I suggest are from colleagues who have gone these pathways and merit a closer look.
1. Friend who graduated UAG and was able to do social service stateside for one year serving in a free clinic with Hispanic patients.
2. Heard of UAG graduates doing a 1 year Internado Criollo in Puerto Rico, passing step 3 and getting licensed as a general practitioner in
PR. Apparently, this may count as the one year of social service as well since Puerto Rico doesn't pay or pays very little and it serves an Hispanic community. If you are a US citizen or green card holder considering this option may kill two birds with one stone??
3. 1 year social service in Mexico.
