Do not use the Shippers……….Paqueteria Estrella Blanca…. Just Another group of thieves.

This company open your packages and takes out what they want. Retapes your package and then fakes like nothing happened.

If you do not take everything out of the box in their office on the floor and can prove what is missing you are out of luck.

This is a Mexican based company that competes with UPS, FeDex and DHL.

They stole items that my parents shipped to me.

    Some of the items:

Two smoke Sensor / alarm / detector

    Motorola cable modem
6 piece precision pliers set, knit gloves

Are you sure that the items weren't taken by customs?

Customs here has a bad reputation for doing this. They would be my first suspect. Food, medical items, and anything made in China dissapears regularly becuase of them.

I am sure that it was not related to customs.

The package was transported from the US to Mexico by the family and
shipped from with-in Mexico at the Estrella Blanca office to Guadalajara.

This was done to avoid problems with shipments between countries.

I learned my first lession with UPS and shipping between the US and Mexico and them stealing my Cell phone amd Meds.

This is funny - I was actually just about to post something similar. My parents paid for their "overnight" delivery to send me some things from Mexico to Guadalajara. It was essentially one envelope with documents.

It took five days and about seven phone calls.

Will not use again. Stick to Fedex.

Fedex for everything - and within Mexico, maybe DHL (I've been told national is ok, but can't confirm).

Also, every bus company has a mensajeria, and estrella blanca is the worst bus company, so maybe a better bus company will do a much better job.

    within mexico

When someone renews a US passport at the US consulate in GDL, you have to use MULTIPACK paqueteria to have your passport delivered.

We did this and three passports arrived exactly when the US Consulate said it would without any issues. They checked ID's to make sure the right person was receiving them.

If I had to ship within Mexico - I would use them again.

Well if the US government is using it that means it has to be good. They wouldn't trust anyone that wasn't consistent. I'll keep that in mind. Multipak.

Estrella Blanca goes through the act of making one think they are secure.
They require your ID plus other identification to pick up ones package at their office. I do not know if they deliver.

Once you get it home and open it up, that is another issue.
