    Credit from a college?

    Advertisements

One requirement to pre-medical program is:

    Pre-Med Candidate

A Pre-Med candidate is one that:

just graduated from high school and
has received any credit from a college or university

I have just graduated from high school but why I have to have credit from a college? How can I manage to get credit from a college, I have only just graduated from high school.

Can I already apply to UNIBE in May 2006?

Please answer this question at least.

Does it matter how good my higher school certificate (high school diploma) is ?
Or do I only have to have over 2.5 gpa in my school-leaving certificate (high school transcript)where are all the numbers of courses that I have passed in high school.

    Hi,

I'm not sure what the GPA requirments are for high school grads, it's my understanding that UNIBE is being a little more demanding recently but I'm not sure about that. In any case there is no reason why you can't enter UNIBE straight out of high school, you'd simply begin at the very beginning of their program and take the pre-med courses at UNIBE as opposed to a college in the States. Plenty of people enter med schools here straight out of high school.

    Take care and God Bless.
    Ozzie.

How it is possible to jump straight to med school out of high school cause getting to med school has these requirements.

    Medical School Candidate

A Medical School candidate is one that:

just successfully completed studies equivalent to our Pre-Medical program
    in an accredited institution, or

has a degree equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Science from an accredited
institution. This degree must include the following courses:

    yes

    hi,

Yes you can apply straight out of highschool for the pre-med program which is 4 semesters long and then you start med school. The college credit is only for transfer students. The UNIBE web page has a phone number and you can contact Ivette Martinez with any questions..
