    Not true, you can do it, I have met people from UNIBE who have done it. It is not easy, and you will probably have to have step 1 passed first, but you can do it. People from all over the caribbean schools go to PR universities after taking step 1 pretty regularly. I have also met some UNIBE alumni that transferred to Ross after taking step 1, and got the advantages that go with that school.

    what's the point of transferring... if you have passed step 1 means that you doing well at the university.

    the main thing from my point of view would be the US clinical rotations, and the name recognition provided by one of those schools going into the match. that alone is enough. If you transferred to a PR school you would be an American graduate.

    True true and I found there are some U.S. schools that will take a foreign transfer if they passed step 1 and have some pretty stellar grades. Drexel university is one of them....
