I'm assuming you are currently a M1 student so you have your answer already, but just some things I wanted to clarify for future students. Courses are split into two terms. So most books used in Term 1 will be used in Term 2. For the courses that are only one term, there isn't enough time to read the required textbook. One thing I didn't appreciate as a Term 1 student (I want my money back, Trinity) was the books being purchased for you. I can understand why they would do that, but I wish they would have given us an option. I have not used a textbook as the primary source for ANY of my classes. I don't have that kind of time once I go through the powerpoint presentations. The amount of money I spent on those books I rarely/never used, I could have purchased a roundtrip ticket for one of my breaks (at least the non-LIAT portion).
