    Why?

Why are all the ads on vmd about SP and against BO. It's kinda sickening to see all this propaganda crap, so is VMD pro republican or something?

You must be referring to ads by Google since VMD would NEVER allow ANY direct advertising of political ads.....regardless of party.

The way the Google ads work is that they are primarily "content based", meaning they analyze the content of whatever page, then they try to provide related ads based on that content. So if a thread is bashing SP/repubs, it will be more likely to have an ad on SP/repubs than BO/dems since the content is about SP/repubs (whether positive or negative).

In addition, it also depends on which ads are available to choose from. So if there are more SP/repubs ads available than BO/dems on the Google ad network, then those will be more likely to be seen.

In either case, VMD doesn't have anything to do with choosing which of the ads are seen via Google ads.....except to block any particular ones which are specifically pointed out to us for being inappropriate (i.e. online gambling, etc). Instead you should be contacting the people who are promoting BO/dems and ask them to step up their ad campaigns throughout the web if you feel they are underrepresented on the Google ad network. Either that or stop participating in threads that primarily discuss politics.

    Hope this helps.
