    Best Books!!

    Advertisements

Hello. I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right section so I apologize if this isn't it. I'm just about to start med school in Dominican Republic in Jan. 2011 and before I leave the U.S, I was trying to come up with a list of essential books that'll I will need during school. I was looking at the Kaplan books, obviously, but I'm so lost as to which ones I need to get since there are SO MANY. Lol if anyone could help me on this it would be great.

to Isabel2nycdr-if you're wondering what text books you need for med school then i think you should contact the school's personel or check the school's website.

if you're wondering what books you need for med school exams (as in the board exams: USMLE Step1, Step2, Step3,) i think you should check the posts titled USMLE Step 1 (type it into the search engine) (sorry i can't put up the link b/c im still a newbie member)

    Hi everybody,

Just wanted to help all those people who have to study pharmacology and don't like it very much. Lippincott's Illustrated Reviews Pharmacology 4thEdition helped me a lot, thanks to this book my point of view of pharmacology changed a lot, now I even like it. SO here it is:
    w w w .failai.lt/hg2inmcv3pph/ Lippincott'sIllustratedReviews_ Pharmacology_ 4thEdition. pdf. htm
(please remove all spaces in URL before using it)

I also have another book of pharmacology- Bertram G. Katzung-Basic & Clinical Pharmacology(9th Edition).pdf . Everything is written circumstantially here, sometimes too much, especially if you are a student of some medical school or university, but it might be useful as well.
    Here it is: w w w .failai. lt/w8gwed0co1ob/ Bertram_G._Katzung-Basic_&_ Clinical_Pharmacology (9th_Edition).pdf.htm
(please remove all spaces in URL before using it)

    Enjoy, and good luck
