    TOS Violation in Title

    Advertisements

I am not sure why do people keep on harping on something that is not true. This is the suggestion. Rather than posting it here

    1) Talk to Dr P****o for the rotation
    2) There are 13 residents in US , 1 in canada and 3 in holland
    3) SMU is the only institution that has clinical rotations in Curacao. You want us to believe that other institutions are so great but can not
get rotations in Curacao. How can the institution be credible when students from the same country can not rotate in their own country

SMUFOM is the only medical school in Curacao with Clinical Rotations and Research.

Mature thread as always from SMU

It would help if you and others would stop deceiving people. Here are some questions and facts for you?

    1. Why is it so difficult for SMU to list their hospital sites on their website like other Caribbean schools?

    2. SMU in its current form reopened for classes in January 2011 so t those 13 residents in the US/Canada/Holland are not products of the current school

    3. I guess the other schools do not have rotations in Curacao because they do not want or need them. US and Canadian students in the Caribbean do not want to train and rotate in third world Curacao hospitals. Maybe SMU students do but I know 99% of the people on VMD do not. Obviously the Curacao rotations were set up because your school has no where to place the Indian and Nigerian students you are now desperately trying to recruit.

When a Caribbean school has to look for students in India and Nigeria you know they are having trouble attracting US and Canadian students.

Rotations in Curacao is a misnomer.

To get facts right, this can be only "Observership" as such. No way this can be accounted for Clinical Rotations anywhere in the World.

Dutch students are placed in Curacaon hospitals for Tropical Medicine postings, which is an elective posting and NOT CORE ROTATIONS.

US or Canadian State Medical Boards wouldn't accept "observership" from third world countries for ECFMG certification & surely for Residency Programs.

So the truth is finally coming out. You don't have any ACGME approved rotations in the US.

Thanks for telling current and prospective students that you are essentially an offshore Indian school. Not a traditional US based Caribbean med school.

Wow.... even when St Martinus closed down a few years ago things were never this bad

Keep on spinning dearie. SMU will be like SGU. All the 3 semesters programs are scared and trying their best to
misinform prospective student. Obviously your are from CMU. You post the clinical rotation list stolen from the employer and tell your own.
The school has ACGME approved rotations in the US. You can't do anything because you guys like to steal and claim it as your own.
Tell me dearie you claim to be open 2007. This is 2012. You don't have any graduates as of yet? How come?
Why can't you guys do rotations in Curacao?
