    Two weeks and counting.

    Advertisements

(There is no relevant information here so stop reading this if you're looking for information. It's just a few thoughts by me.)

I hope you all are exited. Two to four weeks and we'll all be in Bonaire. I just can't believe it

I remember saying, "I can't take this anymore. Six months is far too long away. The boredom is killing me."

And now I'm saying, " What the hell, two weeks and I have to leave! Dammit, now I have to start doing work to get ready to leave "

And yes, I am a little bored at the moment so that's why I'm writing this but hey, gotta keep something going in this forum. In any case, I look forward to meeting a lot of you. I'm exited and nervous at the same time but I'm sure everything will work out in some weird and unusual way. It'll definitely be a different experience from the undergraduate universities here in the U.S. I remember 95% of the people I knew weren't even in the same major I was and it sucked but now, just think. We're 'supposedly' going to be a tight nit group with whom everyone knows one another. I see fun in the making and long term friendships being created. (Someone said that earlier but eh, thought I'd repeat it.)

Not only will I be going to the professors for help but now I can rely on most of you for help too. (I hope :P ) We're all going to be connected indirectly for our goal to become doctors and many of us will be connected directly with the same interests / hobbies. (Whatever you want to call it.)

I don't know about many of you, but I often just wonder a lot since I have nothing better to do at this point in time. I imagine myself in Bonaire doing random messed up stuff, (insert own ideas here :P ), and having a blast. Often times I just put myself in random scenarios just hoping the experience will be as good as I imagine it to be. (Yeah yeah, that sounded silly but you know what I mean so don't be a dingle-berry.) And no, I don't do this during the day but often at night before I go to bed since I can't sleep anymore. My sleep pattern is so messed up it's ridiculous.

Most importantly though, aside from the education, I often wonder how a lot of you are going to act / be / look / whatever. You can only get so much from posting here and the rest is left up to the imagination. I have a mental picture of a lot of the regular posters and I just know I'm going to be totally wrong in my assumptions. But in the end, what are assumptions? Messed up ideas that mainly turn out wrong and assuming is just one of the worst possible things you could do. At least from my frame of reference.

Anyway, I guess I'll stop writing. I'll just listen to more music and think think think. " I think I can, I think I can, I think I can" -- Yes, I am a loser :P

    Good fight, good night!
Did anyone see the Corrales fight? I was thoroughly impressed. And Mike Tyson was a disappointment again. *sigh*
Of yes, if you're an avid music listener, bring lots of music! Anything you can get your hands on, bring it! I'm bringing mine O_o

    Bright idea.

So yeah, I'm just going to make this my unusual thread of things I do until I leave. That way, I can spam all I want here and no one will get mad =)

So, I bought 3 gallons of cranberry juice thinking I had one week to finish each one. But I'm leaving in one week.. how did I work that out? No clue.

Oh, and I love the federal law. Can't buy more than 3 packages at once of DayQuil/NyQuil or substances with pseudophedrine in it... (I think that's what it is)... But you can just go back in line and buy 3 more O_o

I love the, buy one pair of shoes for full price and get the second one at half price. Averaged out to $40 for each pair but now I have too many O_O

Anyway, stay tuned! More to come of my useless spam!

    Last minute panicks...

Have you copied all of the e-mail addresses you need? What about favorite web-sites? Is your driver license going to be good for the next few years? Have you set up a system to get the last utility/phone/cable bills sent to you (you don't want to forget those and get nasty notices that might screw up next year's loans). Have you called your credit card company to let them know it really will be you buying a snorkel and mask in Bonaire and alerted them to a change of address? Have you pre-packed and weighed your luggage to check to make sure you won't have to pay a penalty for being overweight at the airport? (Too much and they could charge you the cost of another ticket!)

Just doing my part to pluck your last nerve

    Srividya,

Just out of curiousity, will you be attending St. James? Haven't seen you post here before so I thought I'd just ask.

Luggage: (When I get around to that, the night before, it'll be Check.

    The flu

I had the flu this weekend. Of all the times to have it, I have it the weekend before I leave. I don't know if that's just plain crummy or really lucky. O_O

In any case, I leave Wednesday!

Getting the flu is never lucky. But count your blessings--I decided to get a quick vision check a couple of weeks ago to see if I needed new reading glasses. Voila! I had cataracts! 2 weeks later I have my new reading glasses, but I just had to have a couple of surgeries to get them!

    Airport Pickups

I have this feeling I'm going to get stuck at the airport in Bonaire. I hope Frankenstone's Golden Reef Inn comes through and picks me up! If not, I expect you to come and get me Frankster!

Anyway, I'll make one last post tonight before I leave.
