    Advertisements

    Hey guys!
So i got my acceptance call for May 2011 for Anguilla campus for MD program.
    Thankgod the wait is over
Just wondering if someone could fill me in a little bit on what i should do next just to stay on top of things.
i know i will apply for loans, but they said that should be in March since thats when it opens up.
    Hows the living situation?

Btw, im from chicago, so if anybody from chicago planning on attending Anguilla in May, PM me.

any input of any sort would be appreciated.
    Thanks!!

You have a lot of time. If you want to get a head start, buy the BRS books for MD1 subjects and start reading a little by little. I highly recommend Anatomy. You would be surprised how much you retain when you get here.

Most of your other questions you will see answered everywhere else.

I would recommend the Anatomy Book. The others you can read from the library or have pdf versions of (other students will give them to you). It is your choice though. I recommend the BRS books, especially for Anatomy. Don't bother getting the ethics book. You can read it in a couple days at the library (and you don't really need to read it for the class anyways).

    Reasons you chose Anguila Location?

    Hi Phatman1591,

I'm also from Chicago and planning to apply for SJSM in May 2011. Can you tell me why you chose to attend Anguila over Bonaire? Right now, I'm leaning toward going to Bonaire because of the tuition and seniority of the school.

I just chose Anguilla because of the new campus and because its more updated, atleast thats what i heard. They have nice classrooms with projectors and TV's in the room, and better equipment over all.
I guess it really doesnt matter, because even with 2 different campuses, its still under the same school.
    Hope this helps!

P.M me if you need any other information.
If youre applying for May at st james, we should keep in touch. Would be nice to know someone from chicago whos going there.

True true...its just a newer campus. Both campus run the same curriculum. I know Anguilla is a little easier to adjust to but Im sure with all the students there....your transition will be fine. Both campus' are fine. You just choose what is best for you.
