We are real students...or in any case I am

    Advertisements

I must say i was slightly amused by the postings on the school forum about this forum red flagging you guys. The school can try to discredit us in anyway possible. They can tell you what you may or may not want to hear. Seriously come visit this place so you can see for yourself. It's understandable why you wouldn't want to believe us, hell if it was me I'd think oh these people just have nothign better to do. Well that's partially it b/c some of us don't have profs who teach so we may have a little extra time since we don't have classes. The real reason at least in my case is I am an individual that believes in being well informed as well as not getting screwed over. I am the type of person who needs to hear both sides of an issue and make my own call. I figured I might as well give you an insiders prospective before you all make the leap of faith in coming here. **** tells us in his annual vist all the things the school is planning on doing an things we want to hear. LOL the best part is it's the same speech every time and most of us just end up leaving from hearing the same **. IN the end you all must make that judgement call based on all the info you have received. Please for your own sakes don't believe the website I already made that mistake. And like i have i said before any assistance that i may be of I am willing to help.

    Fair enough

If you've read all of the posts on this forum you are aware of the scare tactics employed by some rather unscrupulous types. I'll not ask for personal information, as it means nothing. It does mean something that you've returned and are willing to answer questions and for that you have my personal gratitude. Pardon the blunt manner, it is done for brevity's sake, not intended to be harsh.

    1. You have alleged that students were asked to leave clinical rotations. You did not provide an explanation for the circumstances nor did you explain the source of this information. Please do so.

    2. From the instruction you have received, you have inferred that you feel it is substandard. Why? What is missing? What are you comparing it to?

    3. You stated that instructors missed classes and that schedules had to be changed. How frequently did this occur? Is it a routine or episodic event?

    4. You alleged that the promised progress has not happened. Has there been no improvement? Are these deliberate deceptions by the school?

    5. You have indicated that you are transferring to another school. Have you been accepted? Have you been given any credit for your education at SJSM?

    6. You indicated that many students are transferring. What percentage of the class is "many?"

    7. You chose SJSM over the other schools. What has changed that makes you now think that another school is preferrable?

    8. This is a difficult and perhaps unfair question to ask: If you were tested on the material you have learned to date by an impartial source, how well do you think you would do and why?

The "Red Flag" post on the SJSM was done by a potential student, not the school. The school's representative has not responded to any of the recent posts.
