    Hey,
I've been sifting through the SGU site for a while and I noticed that there seems to be quite a good sports program. I was most interested in the Tae Kwon Do, and was considering starting it now to get some basics down before I came there. So my question is, will there be people who can continue training and does it meet regularly. Also, I have done fencing for a while and wanted to know if there was any oppurtunity to fence over there. Thanks for all your help!

hahaha... the only sports you can do here is hockey, basket ball, soccer, water sprots, flag football, lifting and running. Everything else only happens if there are students who want to lead the group... sometimes people do yoga or tae kwon do, but those aren't school sponsered in anyway and it all depends on who has free time and wants to lead a group.. the website on sports is out dated... I have seen fliers here for tae kwon do but have never seen more than 2 people doing it and they were doing there own stuff, there is no one to teach you... besides you will be so busy with school work that you won't have time for sports unless you are on an intermural team... Remember you are here to become a doctor not a Black belt...

I think drinking is the official national sport of Grenada since 1977.

This is SGU. Nothing happens here but drinking and schoolwork. Its not the high class center of learning they portray it to be.

    aerobics

hey guys....if any of you are interested, in january when i get to grenada, I'm gonna try and teach a couple of classes (kickbox/step/hi-lo) a week. I was looking at the current schedule (which looks outdated) and since I've been teaching for years now, I thought I'd keep it up there. I contacted the coordinator and he's game. I'd better see you guys out there!!!!
