    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had flown from DC and what the best/cheapest airline/route is. Thanks!

    by air

i think the best way would be airplane.

most folks try to get to newyork or puerto rico then go from there. american airlines or jamaica airlines probably your best bet.

    alternate conveyance

well swimming would not be advisable. you could drown or get eaten by a shark or shrivel up like a prune or bump into other people who didnt take an airplane. also horseback would be unadvisable as well because it will drown. duh. elephants can swim though....

    luggage

But your luggage will get there faster if you swim or go by horseback as opposed to flying.

    luggage?

i have never lost or had my luggage delayed. i always take air canada from toronto then liat from barbados. some folks who live in the north east fly to toronto to take air canada.

you can take two 70lb bags, 1 30lb carryon, + 1 item of business
and liat will take all that with a smile because they have an agreement with air canada.

just so you dont think i was kidding about swimming elephants. i apologize to all the moderators as i could not find an elephant who was wearing a bathing suit - fortunately it is a side view.
