Probably, since there's a page of objectives to cover in our pre-midterm packet.

Were you given any reason or indication that the material wouldn't be covered on the final exam?

the immuno final is COMPREHENSIVE. She can ask a random question from midterm (ex: there was a random question about TLR strictly from premidterm), although it is mostly cenetered around post midterm. Take the final seriously in immuno, I know many people who failed the class because of the final. It is worth MUCH more than your midterm. Our class average for the midterm was 88, and it dipped down to 80 for the final.
On a bright note, if you fail immuno, you dont decel, you take a makeup exam. If you fail that makeup exam... uhhh.. just don't

We had immunodiagnostics on our final. We had a VP teach that portion, and he had extra stuff in his lectures, but we were only tested on what was put forth in the objectives.

The final is easier to study for if you use that purple book - "problem-based immuno" or whatever it's called. Most of the questions on the final were similar to those in that book.

They wouldn't teach you something that is not covered on exams. Let alone waste 3+ lectures on it.
