    Can you decel 3x?

    Advertisements

Just curious. What if you have decelled 2x because of academic problems, but then you are required to take a leave of absence the third time.. (say family member died, or really sick), will sgu allow you to do that? or is it just 2x decel regardless of reason. thanks

Is it an SGU rule, or licensing reason?

the 3 yrs basics, 3 yrs clinicals =6 yrs total for med school is a licensing issue for some states.

unless sgu has changed the rules, if you are jan class, it is possible to decl 3x and still finish basics in 3 yrs, but if you are aug class, 3 decels will put you off longer than 3 yrs.

i am very sure that u can decel only twice in basic science. I personally knew a person who had to take a sick leave one term and then later failed an exam a term later. That person was asked to leave.

But that's only twice. They asked him to leave on his 2nd time?

Maybe it's just me, but wouldn't it make more sense to try and figure out
how not to decel rather than figure out how many times you can get
away with it before you get the boot?

If you answered yes, then you'll probably find this interesting. I'm putting
on a seminar this Tuesday called Crisis Control to show you exactly how
    not to decel.

so exactly what are you? a school offical? if so where? and shouldn't your designation reflect that?

what exactly is a "GPA advisor"?

not a school official rok, the designation would def reflect this.....more like a private consultant thing.
