There's really no such thing as a Winter Formal, since it's never really winter here, but we have Unity Ball, which is held each term in November/April. It's been in Taylor since I've been here.

What kind of information are you looking for? Each club donates a few members to work at it, and everyone else (that feels like going) buys tickets and shows up, drinks and eats and socializes and occasionally dances. It's not exactly a big deal or anything.

This year Unity Ball will be on Saturday November 7th. They always plan for the ball to be after the ICSA cultural show. Instead of Taylor this year it's going to be held off campus! Unity Ball will be at the Rex Hotel, which will be a great change from Taylor. Tickets usually go on sale a week or two beforehand, so you probably won't hear much about it for a while. Hope that helps!

Not to be a TraperJohn, but how much is the change to the Rex going to affect ticket prices?

Haha, good question-- I have no clue. I just heard from a friend in SGA about the change in venue, but I don't know much else about it...

Taylor was always a great venue, but I never worked it.

This year it will be held at the Rex. The brilliant organizers decided to serve only beer and wine. So.. ya... that's probably the worst idea they could come up with.

haha, i suppose if you look at it that way, but if you really want your liquor, just go to bananas afterward We're on campus all the time, it'll be nice to have our one school-wide event off campus for once!
