I was wondering what is the estimate expenses after you are done with SGU. I am paying for everything without help from family so I just want to get an idea how much debt will I be in when I am done. I searched and people were saying about 250K is that accurate? The other thread wasnt very useful. Thanks in advance

considering it costs about 50k a year for tuition + health fees + school fees... if u want campus housing, tack on another 9k/year, and then add on ur food + entertainment + travelling back and forth.

i usually spend about 300-400 US per month for food/fun/entertainment

I recently made a spreadsheet trying to figure out that number too, based on what the school website estimates vs. how much I actually needed.
I was pretty modest in my calculations because I don't go out much, I cook all my food, and I don't buy every book at full price needed for each semester, and don't have a car.
I came up with a little under 250K for all 4 years (including food, electric, off campus rent, flights, insurance, tuition, fees, etc) but did not include rent for clinical rotations for 2 years in that price.
    Hope that helps!

thanks.. i read that the 250k could vary depending on the clinical years... im guessing around 275K would be a better guess? can you get a student loan for that much?

    don't forget that 4 years doesn't mean 8 semesters... it's actually 10 semesters
