    Dormitory Costs

    Advertisements

Hey, for the True Blue dorm, when it says $3467, is that the cost per month?

    True Blue Newly Constructed Dormitories
Our newly constructed dorms at the True Blue campus are centrally air conditioned. Each room will accommodate two students. The rooms are equipped with a kitchenette (stovetop, refrigerator, sink and microwave) and a full bath. There are laundry facilities conveniently located on each floor. A cleaning service is provided two days a week. Electricity is both 120 and 220 volts.
    Double with Air Conditioning: $3,467.00

What would the cost be if the term is less than 4 months?

I tried. No housing people picked up. That's why I'm wondering if current students know.

Also, do most students live off-campus after 1st term?

Well, if you figure that the short term is 6 weeks as opposed to 17 for a regular term. Then, 6/17= 0.35294. Multiply that by $3467 and you get, $1223.64. So just to be safe, I would say ~$1500

My bill for housing for Term 3 (6 weeks) was $1,262.00 for a Single/Kitchenette suite (buildings QRST).

Living off campus is so much nicer, cheaper, more space and privacy, no screaming banshees in the corridor 7 nights a week, easier to get groceries, no contact needed with Housing, bus routes right there (God forbid you might want to walk a short way)......

The only downside is the reluctance to blow the ac, but even then there are ceiling fans in most places....
