Travel Plans for Canadians & Question on housing

    Advertisements

    1. For Canadians attending SGU this January, have you booked your flights? If so, which airlines did you find offered the cheapest flights? I plan to fly out on Jan 16 and return on May 17 after exams. So far, Caribbean airlines seems to offer the best deal. Any other suggestions?

    2. Does anyone know how soon after our exams we have to leave the dorms? Also, does housing lottery happen early enough to allow students who did not secure housing on campus to search for housing elsewhere? Finally, can we leave some of our belongings (pots, pans, bed sheets, etc) in the dorms during summer break if we plan to live on campus during 2nd term (I don't want to have to take everything back with me each time)?

    Thanks.

cant help you with the canadian flight situations

but you can leave as soon as the last final is done, no need to stay unless you want to. and housing lottery is done typicall after all the midterms are done and yes you can store stuff during the break at your own risk

    Hi Stewie,

Got your PM. Thanks a lot for the advice! I will be flying from Toronto so I'll definitely call the travel agents and see.
