I did not find the two books you requested in this database. However, if you do not mind reading books online, you can try searching this website for other popular titles:

    Main Page - Gutenberg

Woah.. whats up with the yelling?

I would say used about $1-5 USD. But thats the hitch... there isn't a used bookstore nearby... shiet there isnt a real bookstore in Grand Anse or St. George (and no the little 20 book shop in Spiceland doesnt qualify).

I would grab them as a PDF. (Google has at least 20 online)

    Although OT:
John_USA pretty much answered your question directly.

However, there are other advantages to having access to books online. Convenience was the motive behind my post, primarily having access to such a library at one's fingertips. Also, it is convenient (for me) to enlarge the text to a comfortable reading level. I did not intend to come off as a cheapskate. I should have indicated my intentions in my original post.

There is a gift shop/bookstore at the Excel Plaza. They have a lot of classic books. I bet you could get Catcher in the Rye there.
