    Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint - student Edition

    Advertisements

Is it recommended that we have Microsoft STudent Edition (word, excel, pp) installed into our comps. before arriving? or does the school supply it with our first term books.

I've heard the school gives us flash memory sticks - if we have our own, can we have them give us a refund or something for the one they're supplying to us? If so, whom do we contact?

    Thanks

The school supplies Microsoft Office installation CD and memory stick -- it's included as part of your textbooks and fees. I doubt if they'll go through the trouble of deducted from you because you already have it -- they didn't do it for me..But you can always try...

If you already have Microsoft Office XP or 2003 or a memory stick you can get a refund. I did as well as my roommate. Email one of the ladies in student finances (not financial aid) and tell them you already have these. If you are nice about it, they will give you a refund. I was able to get a refund after I had picked up everything (just had to take it back to the textbook distribution).
