Couple questions. Are classes all day 9-5pm, every day? Do professors teach the classes or are there TAs involved?

    classes

not all day long, some days are long because of Labs, but actual lecture is usually 4 hrs a day. All lectures are done by the profs.

In St. Vincent, classes are from 8-12 and clinic is twice a week for 1.5 hrs. All classes are taught by profs and visiting professors (95% of them are excellent) with reviews done by clinical tutors (MDs from other countries).

    just to clarify

Term 1: 2 morning labs a week, 2 hours of histo, 3 for gross. These start at either 8 or 10 am, but will switch halfway thru the term. Lectures 1-5pm. All lectures taught by profs, gross lab has profs supervising, and histo lab is taught entirely by TAs (all MDs) with a couple of professors supervising.Term 2: Morning classes 9am-12. Usually you will have 2 hours of lab small groups about 2 times per week. Term 3: Morning 8-12. 2 hours of small group about 2 times per week.Term 4: Morning classes 8 or 9 to 12. Path lab ~4 afternoons per week for 2 hours. Clinical skills twice per week for 2 hours. Again, all labs done by TAs, all of whom are MDs. In 4th term, there will be at least 2 days per week when you have scheduled class/labs from 8-5. Those days blow.Andy
