    Vacation time during Clinical Rotations

    Advertisements

During your third yr. @ SGU, do you have any vacation time between core clinical rotations?

If so, can you take the time however you want, or does everyone have a set time (eg. same month or weeks) off?

    Thanks

From what alot of people have told me, you can more or less schedule your own breaks, we have to do about 80 weeks total worth of rotations before June 2008 if you are currently in St vincent. If u start september 1st 2006, you have approximately 91 weeks to finish, leaving a total of 11 weeks of free time over the total time in clinicals. I hear each hospital has its own policy regarrdign whether u get Xmas/ thanksgiving off, but that would count towards your 11 weeks.
