Yes, students can work in Australia or NZ with the MBBS Degree. The Medical Board of Australia accepts graduates of the MBBS programme for the purposes of provisional registration in Australia. This is on the basis that the MBBS is a UK primary medical qualification completed outside the UK which is accredited/quality assured by the GMC. Please note that you would still need to complete your supervised experience (F1 or recognised equivalent) in either the UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand or the US in order to be registered via the competent authority pathway.
