    clarification of title of forum

    Advertisements

mods and admin--there should be some sort of disclaimer or clarification that this is not affliated or related to to SGU grenada or the UK campus....is at 1st glance (and for newbies) a bit confusing.

    The First St George's

St George's University of London has been around for 250 years. Based in a major London teaching hospital, it is a specialist Health Sciences university, one of the UK's top institutions and a world centre of teaching and research excellence. Not to be confused with a thirty year old offshore med school in the West Indies (in fairness an excellent and high quality school) which happens to share a name. Government restrictions mean there are very few UK places for international medical students, but the SGUL degree can now be done in Cyprus through the University of Nicosia: there's a link to the Cyprus programme at the Nicosia university website, or try Google..

true enough, however vmd is known more for being a source of information on the caribbean schools so the notion that this program is affliated with the WI school and not the UK school would be the 1st thought.

oh and by the way St George, London UK does not consider anybody who is not a UK national. Not even an EU resident!
