I don't have the answer, as I am still an applicant to the school.
I am also interested in this good question.

    Grocery stores:
    Tesco
    Sainsbury
    Iceland

    Electronics:
    Maplins
PC World- need to take a cab
    Dixon's

    Bookstores/school supplies:
    Waterstones
    Partner's
*there are more I can't remember right now

There are little corner stores everwhere that have most neccesities.

Can get pretty much everywhere you need without a car

    stores

I know that most of the stores you mentioned they have in london but how accessable are they in london. Do you think things such as school supplies should be bought out there or try to bring them with you if there is room

It is all in Luton, it is all accessable, and you might as well get it here. It is not worth it to bring it. Electronics you should bring with you, but everything else you can get here.

    electrical transformers

Do they sell electrical transformers out there to step down the currency?
I can get portable ones in radio shack but i am talking about maybe more powerful ones that can handle more currency wattage for multiple things at one time or should i just bring a couple or them from radio shack for things like my photo printer etc that does not step down the currency?
also incase i dont have enough can i get adaptors out there to change the outlet for things like my comp and camera etc ?

Everything is accessible within walking distance because they build
everything so close to each other. It's not like the US where things are so
far spread out and everyone needs a car to get from point A to point B.
Most people don't even own a car here. Cars are considered luxurious
    here.

    Transportation is excellent.
You can walk to the mall, grocery stores, restaurants, etc..
You can walk to the train station and take the train to London in 20-30min.
London has an excellent tranportation system. There are trains, tubes,
taxis, and buses. You can literally walk around London or take the tube if
you're lazy. You can even travel to all parts of England by train. Luton
even has an airport which is a gateway to Europe. You can go skiing in
Geneva or party in Ibiza. Want to go to France? Take a train from
London through the Eurotunnel. Your choices are endless.

Buy school supplies here. Their paper sizes and folders are different.
They're not compatible with US standards. Just travel light. Most things
can be bought here. We have an Office World behind the school.
It's like an Office Max or Office Depot.
