    Spartan Limitations?

    Advertisements

    Hello everyone,
I am having a bit of a conundrum right now. I am transferring into my 3rd semester and was leaning towards both Spartan and Sint Eustatius. I have read probably every forum comparing the two school, but I still feel like I don't have enough information to make the final decision. Can any current Spartan students give me an honest account of how they feel about their school? Also, I am not understanding the whole state accreditation thing, does Spartan have NY?? Thanks!

Overall, the school is suitable to get a residency. No problems with rotations. The cost of living in St. Lucia is cheap along with tuition cost. I don't know anything about st. eus. , but my experience here has been okay. Quality of the faculty varies by class. The environment here is good, students are very helpful toward eachother. I don't have any big complaints at the moment. Tests are usually fair, some teachers can give harder exams than others... but there usually is a curve if needed. The school wants the students to succeed

Spartan does not have NY either, they are in the process... they have been recommended but there is no guarantee they will recieve NY yet.

Spartan is disapproved by CA and that will limit licensning in states that follow the CA list. There may be a handfull of states out there but I am not sure exactly which ones they are.

Spartan has lost all of its good teachers since last year and the replacement teachers are of poor quality. They are brought in directly from India and their communication skills in English are poor.

I think once again Spartan is headed in the wrong direction. But I think this school can be a lot better but there is no real interest in improving the school.
