    Low GPA and No MCAT

    Advertisements

    Hi folks!!

Just like others I also need a decent advise

I have a 2.5 over all GPA and I am pretty sure that I am not a good MCAT taker. That's why I have decided to not to take it.

I was wondering what are my chances of getting admission for M.D program in this University or in any of the (FAIMER (IMED) accredited) Caribbean medical school with 2.5 GPA and without MCAT score ?

Yes, I know I am not a genius and thanks for not telling me .

I have a undergraduate in Bio-Medical sciences from USA, and I am also a U.S citizen.

I will appreciate your reasonable responses, and suggestions.. Thanks

If you can pay the tuition, I am sure there is a foreign medical school that will accept you.
There are many schools thirsty for your money. Getting a license to practice in the USA is another story all together.

Write the MCATs, score in the high 20s and go to Ross MERP. Try MUA/AUA as well, they will put you in pre med. Windsor isn't too shabby a deal either...

I would say you should apply. If the school meets your needs in states you can practice in then I recommend it. The small class size and one-on-one student and teacher time (for me) was fantastic. This is something you can not find at a larger school in many cases, so keep that in mind if it is important to you. Past performance is a good indicator of future performance so if you are not ready to take your studies very seriously then do not bother applying. If you are ready to really be serious then apply and go for it. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask or msg me any time.
