    Match Results For 2006

    Hello,

I thought I would start a thread regarding match results for the 2006 NRMP match.

I know four Spartan students whom have ''pre-matched'' for July 2006.

    Family Medicine - Iowa
    Internal Medicine - Michigan
    Internal Medicine - Washington, DC
    General Surgery - Michigan

Any Spartan students/grads who match this year into a specialty, can you please post your specialty and the state in which you matched? It would be wonderful for the valuemd.com world to see that Spartan is still producing grads who are able to make it in the USA.

    Thanks,

    Current

    ...

Well, I do have my sources in the Spartan "office". I also know quite a good number of the students that matched this year from Spartan. I know both guys who matched in Radiology. I know three people who matched in IM and two that matched in FP. The other students who matched, I dont know them but I was told by a Sparty official that they had matched. Apparently, there are a couple other students whom have matched, but Spartan has yet to confirm!

unless reliable, unpayed neutral info linking is provided, it appears spartan has no grads. can anyone prove otherwise, WITHOUT hersay? im thinking this is impossible for spartan....

wow and further, a med sko with no grads = a non-school that just collects money - a degree mill...

    Suggestion

Why don't you do your own reliable, unpaid (not unpayed) neutral research on the subject? It seems that in fact they have had graduates in the past, then post your results so we can compare.

    Cheers

    Max

I am not affiliated with Spartan but did research on the carribean schools and I do believe this school way behing other schools in term of recognitions and approvals but I can tell you that they have hundreds of practicing MD's all over the world and mainly USA.They have according to hospitals and medical schools faculty sites grads in Cornell and same doctor is a grad of Columbia[NY],they have faculty at Columbia hospital,Vanderbilt,Bayloy[I am just mentioning the tough states with lists that spartan is not listed],they have people in ortho, derm, and the top notch grads list is too long to mention.
I believe this school major problem according to my research is 2 parts:

poor administration that runs on low budget

and people like what you read here have no clue but going around destroying an insitution reputation just because he feels like it.Just for your info I was told spreading internet false info is against the law now.
some people here reminds me when I read a book about Hitler info secretery strategy:if you say a lie 3 times some will believe it.

one example taken from cornell faculty website[personal info deleted]

    Weill Cornell Medical College:Faculty

    Instructor in .......
    ..................... Hospital.
......; M.D. 1986, Spartan Health Sciences University School of Medicine (St. Lucia).
